Now It's Finally THE END (whew!)

here it is, my final video, it took a lot of sweat and tears to get here (quite literally too) but I made it. I really tried to get the feeling of being personal even though the people are watching a stranger. I also wanted to induce an errie feeling to the video. I think I accomplished at least something like that here. Of course I couldn't have done it without my friend who though none of this was scripted made a perfectly wonderful shot that produced a video I am proud to say I edited and well....created! haha so enjoy the video by clicking on the picture to see it

THE END (maybe)

Despite all my frustrations here it is THE END!!! (or not >_<)

Strategies (have to have somewhere to start!)

I kept my strategies pretty vague this time in order to give me a lot of leeway. When it came to image capturing strategies I decided to only take frames in which no whole object was in the frame. It kept it so that I could get frames in which objects were still identifiable but (!) not all of the object could be seen. It forces the viewer to see things in part while still understanding the whole. With Sound capturing I decided to only use sounds that are entirely organic or man made. This strengthens the contrast between what the world was born with and what we created to it. However I became much more interested in the organic sounds than man made, there was much more life in these sounds.

CAKE!!!

4. Describe your favorite experience, situation, place, or recollection from either of your Drifts. Be specific about what happened, how you felt, how you reacted, and why you think this particular experience affected you so much

**Drift 2 was a lot of fun. Walking through stores with two cameras just snapping pictures was a real experience. It was interesting to see how people respond to artists out in the world. At first I felt a little awkward taking all my shots and was afraid that some one who worked in these places would tell me to leave but no did (yet!haha). I loved going from complete nature to wandering inside a store and being bombarded with people and things. So much of our world is constantly being pushed to buy more, have more, need more when really so much happiness lies in the simplicity of life and nature. Going from one extreme to another is really astonishing.
